-The major ethnicities in the United States are White American, Black or African American, Native American and Alaska Native, Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander different ethnicites come for different reasons migration, oprotunity, and change.
1B. Describe the distribution of major US ethnicities among states and within urban areas.
The places where these ethnic groups are located are vary close to urban areas and they such as Hispanics are clustering in the Southwest, African Americans in the Southeast, and Asian Americans in the West.


Why did ethnicities have distinctive distributions?

- The way these migrants got here can reflect there heritage history. Many African Americans were forced into migration from Africa for slavery. Many Hispanics and Asian Americans were found migrateing in the late twentieth century for economic prospects and political freedom.

- African Americans migrated to the United States in ,large groups of tribes or family units, from the South in the early twentieth century.

- Some of the law that gave guidelines of segregation of races in the United States were haveing sperate everthings : bathrooms, restrants, places to sit (public benches). If these rules were broken extreame punishment would be placed upon the criminal.
Why do conflicts arise among ethnicities?

- Nationality is identity with a group of people who share legal attachment and personal allegiance to a particular country, and ethnicity is the fact or state of belonging to a social group that has a common national or cultural tradition.

- Lebanon and Sri Lanka are examples of countries where ethnicities have not been able to live in peace there is a constantly trying to be protected.

- The Kurds have divided amoung more then one nationality besause it feels it is too large of an ethnicitie to have just one nationality.

- In western Asia the principle of ethnicity are the lack of similarity between territory in whice ethnicities and nationalities vary close together.

-The process of ethnic cleansing is the act of useing force to remove one ethnicity from a a specific place.

-The concept of ethnic clensing in the Balkans is the process in which an area falls apart due to conflicts among ethnicities
4C. Explain the principle episodes of genocide in northeastern Africa and central Africa.
- Genocide is the execution of a group of people in whice they try to eliminate another ethnicity from everything they have.
